Dr. Shorser, D.D.S

Dr. Shorser enjoys practicing family and cosmetic dentistry, evident by his varied roster of patients. For over 20 years, Dr. Shorser has played a critical role in the overall dental health of many patients in Etobicoke and surrounding areas. Over the years, Dr. Shorser has consistently updated his knowledge and incorporated new techniques and materials through continuing education workshops, seminars, and lectures.

When Dr. Shorser isn’t practicing dentistry, you can find him by the lake, exercising or taking in a good novel or non-fiction book. Dr. Shorser is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Toronto West Dental Society.

Dr. Pallavi Mathur, D.D.S

Dr. Mathur offers general dentistry for patients, delivering comprehensive care for all ages. Her particular areas of expertise include restorative and aesthetic dentistry, helping her patients build healthy, functional smiles that also improve their confidence.

One of the main reasons Dr. Mathur chose dentistry is that it combines healthcare, artistry, and hands-on work. Dr. Mathur enjoys building relationships with her patients and offering services that support lifelong positive change. Her approach to patient care is focused on providing gentle, patient-centered care built on trust. She takes the time to explain options clearly so that her patients feel informed and at ease, and she is especially mindful of those who experience feelings of anxiety over dental visits. Dr. Mathur’s goal is always to provide high-quality, conservative dentistry that creates a supportive and positive experience for her patients.

Dr. Mathur is also passionate about continuing her education and staying up to date on the latest developments in modern dentistry. She particularly enjoys learning ways to help her patients feel more comfortable, make procedures more efficient, and achieve long-lasting results.

Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Mathur enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying active, and trying new restaurants.

Karen Delyea, CDA, Office Manager

Karen started her career in dentistry as a chairside dental assistant in a much simpler time. Over the years, dentistry has evolved extensively, including procedures, products, and technology. As a certified dental assistant (CDA), Karen continues to upgrade her dental knowledge and skills through continuing education courses. She has upgraded her skillset in a variety of areas, including oral facial anatomy, radiography, and office management. With over 25 years of experience as an office manager for Dr. Shorser, Karen has taken the lead in computerizing the office and helped coordinate the move to our new location at Dr. M. Shorser Dentistry by the Lake. Karen’s familiar smile has always welcomed our long-time patients.

Deliana – Hygienist

Deliana has been a member of Dr. Shorser’s team since 2006. She began her career as a dental assistant and went back to school to become a dental hygienist shortly after. Deliana enjoys educating her patients and building a personal rapport with them. Seeing them every few months and how her recommendations improves their oral health brings her great joy and satisfaction! Deliana recently became a proud mom to two lively little boys and enjoys spending time with them, her husband and little dog.
